Time’s fun when you’re having Flies, as the Frog says.  I can’t believe it’s been so long.  I’ve been trying to keep up with classes, travelling to Kentucky with my DH for his class reunion and caring for sick kiddos.  DD is running fever now and looks like I’ll be headed to the doc’s office once more today.  She has sore throat, fever and tummy ache, all of which she’s had in the past with strep.  I’m hoping she only has the virus that’s going around…but will have a strep test done because she always seems to get it.

The weather today looks good.  The high is predicted to be 84.  That’s the lowest temp this fall.  I’m so looking forward to some fall like weather.  I get really impatient for it this time of year.  I have all my fall decorations out around my house and am looking forward to our annual Halloween Dinner in the Drive.

I applied for a job this past weekend that I am so hoping for.  I don’t feel I have much chance for it…but I WANT it.  If God wills, it will be.  The job would be ~15 hours per week, providing customer service, from my home, using my computer.  It’s a dream job for me.  All applications were due last night, so I’m hoping that I’ll hear something in the next day or so.  I wasn’t sure what DH would think of the idea as I’m overwhelmed at the moment with school.  But he was very supportive and encouraging.  I’ve prayed about it and now it’s in His hands.

The kids are out of school on Thursday and Friday this week.  Thursday my nieghbor and I are having several little boys over for a campout in our backyard.  I think a friend of mine is having DD over for the night which will make her happy and I won’t have to worry about her with all these “BOYS”.  Then Friday we’ll have a “MOVIE” day.  That should keep them busy while the other Mom’s have to work.  I hope to get by to visit everyone in the next few days.  I’m guessing this is the way it’s going to be for my posts for awhile.
