Hectic

The kids are better.  We went camping over the weekend and had a great time.  The weather was a bit cool, but not uncomfortably so.  It would have made for good sleeping had we not had a group of college boys next to us drinking among other things until 4 in the morning.  They made no effort whatever to be quiet.  Someone called the park ranger a couple of times.  They came out and said, “no, no boys!  Time to be quiet!”  They responded with a polite, “Oh, I’m sorry, we’ll be quiet.”  Yeah…like that made a difference.

My brother-in-law went in for surgery this morning.  His cancer had recurred again (4th time) in his bladder.  They had to remove it this time along with his prostrate.  I’m awaiting news of his recovery.  Last I heard, the surgery went well and they were waiting for him to breath on his own so they could remove the tubes and also decide weather to move him to a room or progressive care.  Keep him in prayer.  This is such a difficult change for him.

I’ll try to be better about checking in but I just seem to be having trouble with my routines lately.  I can’t seem to get it together.  I’ve started taking CoQ10 in hopes that will help me.  Not sure if it’s EVERYTHING or nothing.  ;-)   I’ll try to stop in for some visits too.

Sick kids again

It’s that time of year I guess.  The kids are taking turns being sick on me.  First DD, then DS, then DH and now DD AGAIN.  I’ve slept a good portion of today away for lack of good sleep last night.  Hope you’re having a better start to your week than I am.  I’m back to rest some more and try not to catch this bug myself.
